14th INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SALON SIBIU 2010
REGULATIONS
The International Photographic Salon Sibiu 2010 is open to all the amateur and professional photographers from all over the world. The salon will be organized according to regulations and standards concerning the organization of the International Photographic Salons.
1. THEMES:
a) DIGITAL BY NIGHT
b) DIGITAL Free/ OPEN
2. REQUIREMENTS:
The organizers will not accept photographs which have been exhibited in the previous editions of the Salon; An entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions; Each participant is allowed with a maximum number of 4 photographs for each theme; The works must be sent on a digital support preferable on hard case CD/ DVD having the big side of maximum 2500 pixels, jpg format, 300 dpi resolution to orizontfoto@gmail.com, or to the address:

3. HOW TO NAME YOUR JPG IMAGE FILES:
RO – Popescu – Ion – A1.jpg;
RO = ISO 3166 country code for Romania;
Popescu Ion = author’s name and surname;
A1 – A4.jpg = the Section letter A and image number (1-4) of the entry;
B1 – B4.jpg = the Section letter B and image number (1-4) of the entry.
4. PARTICIPATION FEE:
Participation fee is mandatory for all participants of the exhibition and is 15 € (20 $) for the two
themes. The works of authors who do not pay participation fee will not be taken into consideration. Each author taking part in the exhibition and paying participation fee will receive the catalogue.
The organizers will edit a CD which will contain all the works accepted in the contest. This can be purchased for 5 EURO or 6 USD at request.

5. PRIZES:
Prize winners receive medals diplomas, honorable mentions:
• 1 FIAP, PSA, ISF, AAFR,ORIZONT GOLD medals for each section (2)
• 1 FIAP, PSA, ISF, AAFR,ORIZONT SILVER medals for each section (2)
• 1 FIAP, PSA, ISF, AAFR,ORIZONT BRONZE medals for each section (2)
• 5 FIAP hon. Mentions for each section (2)
• 1 set of PSA HM Ribbons for each section (2)
• 1”LAZAROIU” plaquete

7. JUDGES:
An entrant’s four images will be presented to the judges consecutively.
The works will be evaluated by the qualified jury consisting of:
• Balási Csaba – EFIAP/s, Romania
• Emil Butnariu EFIAP/b, Romania
• Fred Nuss - AFIAP, Romania
• Nenad Djedovic – Serbia
• Gheorghe Serban – Romania

8. The Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution posting on a website. The exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright. Images may be acquired digitally, or scanned from traditional film to create a digital file. Images may be altered, either digitally or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates.
9. Through your participation to this Salon we assume that you totally approve of all the stipulated requirements.
